Families with children in the SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital-Madison NICU/Pediatric Unit may use the Family Room overnight or during the day.
If families would like to stay overnight, please contact your nurse, social worker or the Family Room directly to request a sleep room.
Our sleep rooms are limited to two adults per room.
Children are welcome during the day in the common areas, but are not permitted to stay overnight.
All pediatric families and antepartum families receiving treatment at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital-Madison can visit the Family Room for Day Use. If you are in the hospital and need a break between appointments and procedures or are at the hospital for an inpatient visit and need a place to relax and recharge, you can come to the 3rd floor.
Unlike overnight stays, Day Use is open to all ages, but children under age 14 must be supervised by a parent while in the Family Room.
