For more than three decades, Ronald McDonald House Madison has helped 60,000+ families stay together with their ill or injured children.
Our House opened its doors in 1993 to provide a “home-away-from-home” for families traveling to Madison for their child’s medical care. Over the years, the House has expanded to meet growing needs, and in 2019, a major renovation allowed us to serve even more families. Today, the House offers lodging, home-cooked meals, laundry facilities, welcoming community spaces, and a supportive environment for up to 31 families each night – and when the House is full, additional families stay at nearby hotels, allowing them to focus on their child’s health without the added stress of finding accommodations.
Beyond the House, Ronald McDonald House Madison extends its impact through:
- Ronald McDonald House Family Room: SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital – Madison
- Ronald McDonald House Family Room: Rogers Behavioral Health East Madison Clinic
- Ronald McDonald House Care Mobile: Rockford
- And additional local programs.
